  • Google OAuth: If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not access any other Google account data. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: We use Cloudflare Turnstile as a captcha service to protect against bots and abuse. Turnstile may collect limited interaction data to verify you are human. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

4. Cookies and Tracking

Dealcrane uses the following types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: We use an authentication cookie (token) to keep you logged in. This cookie is required for the service to function and cannot be disabled. It is set with HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite flags for your protection.
  • Analytics cookies (optional): If you accept analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner, PostHog may set cookies to help us understand usage patterns. You can decline these cookies, and we will not initialize any analytics tracking.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the Settings page, which will permanently remove your personal data, including your email, name, and any saved price alerts. Analytics data collected by PostHog is anonymized and retained separately.

  • Access your data: View your account information on the Settings page.
  • Delete your data: Delete your account and all associated personal data through the Settings page.
  • Opt out of analytics: Decline analytics cookies via the cookie consent banner, or clear your browser's local storage to reset your preference.
  • Contact us: Request information about your data or exercise any of these rights by contacting us.
